Disclosure: The Life of a Home Mom was sent a pair of Lugz Tambora Winter Boots to review. The pictures and opinions are my own.
My First Pair of Lugz Tambora Winter Boots
Last year, I was lucky enough to try a pair of Lugz Tambora Winter boots in black. Let me tell you it was a great choice of footwear. I wore these boots everywhere, no matter the weather. I worried that it wouldn’t hold up in the rain but they were great. While everyone else’s shoes soaked through mine did not. Tip: Don’t allow the fur to get soaked or they might.
My Choice Of Lugz Tambora Boots This Year:
What type of boot/shoe would I get this year? This year I was more than happy to try a pair in coffee color. Before you ask, I did still have a great pair of Tambora boots from last year. My daughter now wanted them since they were black and well she’s 16. I love that Lugz tambora winter boots are perfect for the snow, so I already knew I wanted something warm. We were bracing for an even colder winter than last year according to all the news channels. These aren’t just snow boots though, they can be worn in all types of weather (minus summer of course) which means they last a long time. It would be money well spent.
The Lugz Tambora boots in your choice of Coffee/ Antique Brass/ Black currently available $74.99. Get 30% Off with code 30HOLIDAY. Spend $60 for free US Ground shipping.
My favorite feature is the fur lining inside. Before you ask no it is not real fur. It is plush faux fur which makes your feet really warm and has a soft cushion. You can see that the tongue is also lined with fur.
Lugz Tambora Winter Boot Features:
- Permahide upper
- Suede shaft
- Soft acrylic fur lining
- Cushioned insole
- Padded tongue

- Adjustable fold-down collar
The Tambora combines comfort, functionality and fashion to assure that you will love your boots for years to come. Providing tremendous warmth, the Tambora is the perfect cold weather boot. This cozy and comfortable boot features a plush faux fur lining, a luxuriously cushioned footbed and a reinforced rubber heel and toe for traction and durability.
What Other Shoes does Lugz Offer?
As I have stated before, many times finding shoes/boots for me is a hassle…I have big feet. For those with big feet you already know the task at hand is never fun. Go to five stores to find a pair of shoes in your size will be easy, as long as you don’t mind them looking like clown feet. Find cute? Nope, not happening, that’ll take more work. Lugz had so many in my size. Now one they did NOT have in my size and I wanted to show all of you just in case they have them in your size is the Empire Hi VT (looks like burgundy velvet boot). Sadly, my foot is too big for these.
Lugz comes in its signature box, a bright orange box with the logo LUGZ on the center of the top. My kids immediately knew the box was mom’s because it said LUGZ. As you can see by looking at the pictures above the traction is great on these boots, which means if it is rain, snow or even a frozen ground you are not going to easily slip. (with that being said I’m not saying you won’t ever slip, trust me if you are like me you will find a way) I love that every pair of LUGZ shoe has the logo on the side of the boot.
As I’m always telling my readers on Instagram, dress for the weather not for fashion..of course with Lugz boots you can do both. Win-win in my book. I can’t wait until my oldest comes back to visit for Christmas. I plan on walking with these boots everywhere we go. Not to mention if it snows while he is here we’ll have a snowball fight and I need good traction that the Lugz Tambora Winter boots gives me.
They do have a children’s department, women and men so there are shoes for everyone and they don’t just do boots. For Men – They’ve got some new shoes from the Empire Boot, Flank, Sentry, Breech or Mallard. For Ladies – Empire Boot, Flirt Hi Zip, Tallulah or Tambora (my favorite).
