My Wonderful Mother’s Day from My Kids
We all have wonderful children right? Especially on Mother’s Day where they shower you with all types of attention and possibly gifts right? These last few years they have went over and beyond with each Mother’s Day that passes. I got flowers of course and they were lovely, a card that the kids made for me and a gift. The kids picked me out a dozen roses and jewelry with the money their dad sent them. Talk about feeling spoiled. To top it off I went to church and all the moms (and daughters) were given a carnation of their choice.
For many years I have had a Pandora Bracelet on my wish list for all holidays, birthdays and celebrations but this year I saw the Hallmark Connection Bracelet and I fell in love with it. I love the little chunky charms that you slide on and look at them every time we visit Walmart. This did not escape my children, in fact I told them for my birthday this year they could get me one. I love my bracelet and can’t wait to add more charms to it. BabyGirl (11 yr old) told me she plans on buying charms for it for all the holidays/bdays coming up. Little does she know I plan on buying her and her big sister their own bracelets in the near future for that very reason. Do you have one?
Here is the Hallmark Connection bracelet with Charms on my wrist, where it will stay forever. I love that it says to Celebrate life because many times we just live day by day. This actually reminds me to be happy and celebrate no matter what I am going through. I have always had a fascination with charm bracelets because to me it shows who you are, especially when someone you know/love picks out a charm that they think fits you.
I must say this year was both happy and sad because I realize this is my last year with all my kids living in my house. My oldest son will graduate high school in a little over a month and move away to college. So very proud of him which makes me happy but as a mom we will always have a sadness knowing we can’t simply check on them in the middle of the night to make sure they are there and breathing. Wonder how many times I will call him. haha. I really did have a great weekend with the kids and they made sure to make me feel special. How was your Mother’s Day? What do you think of the bracelet? I love it! Hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day!!!!!
