Gifts for the Man in Your Life: Jord Watches
Disclosure: We were sent a Jord Watch for review purposes. All pictures and opinions are our own.
Antonio, aka SoccerBoy recently graduated from High School and I was so happy to be able to give him a Jord Watch as a graduation gift (one reason I had to wait to do this post). While most of your teens are all about their phones and not caring about having the time on their wrist that is not him. He constantly looks at his wrist when someone asks about the time and immediately pulls out his phone. He had brought up a few months ago how much better it would be if he could have a watch for when he goes to college/work after he graduated high school so I was already hoping to find him one. Jord Watch wrote and asked if I’d like a chance at reviewing their lovely watches, at first I wasn’t too sure but since I knew SoccerBoy had mentioned wanting one I wondered if they had one in his size. They absolutely did and they had quite the selection once I found his wrist size.
In the photos above you can see the watch arrived in a very protected box, I call it a pandoras box because I couldn’t immediately open it. Not to worry it isn’t that hard I just thought you lifted it up. haha. Inside it is protected by the lovely (tiny) pillow to secure it and it also has a layer of bubble wrap around it so it won’t scratch or bump during its trip to you. Every night he takes his watch off and places it back in the box. We got the Fieldcrest Natural Green Jord Watch to review.

The watch slides over the hand and clip locks shut and secure. The top left shows it on and the silver clasp you simply push towards each other to unclip. It snaps easy back in place too. The face is protected and really stands out, I picked a natural color because it goes with just about anything. I wasn’t sure if this would be a watch he only wore for special events, however he has worn it to get a tattoo finished, graduation, going to church, to Disneyland, etc. This watch has no limits and I can tell he likes it. For those wondering, it is actually lightweight, I was worried it might come and it would be heavy since it is made of wood but that wasn’t the case.
I sure am going to miss this boy when he moves away this summer and goes to college, however I know he will stay in contact. The above pictures are to show you he did love his watch and wore it at graduation which meant a lot to me. For your information while these are splash proof this does not mean they can be submerged in water, in other words pool parties and heading to the beach may not be wise to wear them. By the way, this is one of those type of things that draws attention to itself, while he was getting his tattoo touched up on the artist asked about the watch, how much it cost, where she could find one and how heavy it was. I love the fact that he likes it a lot, wears it and now will always have the time as long as he has it, even if his cell battery needs recharged on his phone. It is my opinion that a Jord Watch is a great gift idea for the men in your life, whether it is a Father’s Day gift for your husband/father, a graduation gift for your grad or a birthday gift for someone you know. In case you aren’t aware they also have trendy/beautiful watches for the ladies out there. Trust me I had a hard time deciding if he’d end up with a watch or if I’d choose one for myself. I definitely recommend the Jord Watch if you are looking for a natural, timeless beauty.
I think these watches are so cool and so unique! I know my hubby would love to receive one!
I’ve never heard of these Jord watches until a couple of weeks ago and think they are pretty cool. What Dad wouldn’t love this as a gift?
That watch is gorgeous!! I love it!
My husband always wants a watch but detests anything glitzy looking. I think this style would be a good fit for him. It looks sharp without being overbearing or flashy.
