Our 2014 Family Photos
Did I ever share with you that over the summer since the entire family was together we got photos done? The setting was at our local park and I’m one of those that love natural settings and hanging out at the park is just natural for us. We love to have the kids run around and play and tag each other and then have a BBQ, so it is kind of like a second home. Above you will see a shot that was taken just of myself, I thought it would be a great bio pic and I use it on all my social sites. What do you think?
Here’s the best photo of the whole family together, it’s a bit grainy but shows us all, not someone cut off and most of us are looking at the camera. Little A (there in the corner in the blue shirt) was dealing with Gnats. As you can imagine a lot of pictures were taken that day some smiled, others frowned, someone looked away. Hey, we have a big family, not everyone will cooperate, that would be a miracle. Even Nicoli decided to show off his walking skills since he had JUST started walking.
(There are a few more pictures that I think really express everyone)
Oh yes, big brother and baby brother together. I love that it shows big brother (SoccerBoy) is watching over Nicoli (baby brother) because that is the role. I have no clue how Nicoli is going to respond once SoccerBoy leaves for college next year. Oh and the headphones and beanie those are ALWAYS on him.
This is BalletGirl, while she may no longer be in ballet she was when I started the blog. Today she is 14 years old and is growing into a beautiful, confident young lady. I love that she is confident in herself and knows whatever she wants to do not only will I back her but she knows she can totally do it. She dreams of becoming a teacher and a singer. I think this look totally shows all of this, Ms. Hollywood.
This is BabyGirl, she’s so full of laughter and loves to sing. I love that she was cracking up laughing in this picture. This year she made it on the student council and school choir team. She’s a tiny little thing but that doesn’t stop her from doing the things she enjoys. She’s got a gentle spirit and you must watch out when it comes to anything heartbreaking because she will melt.
I love this shot because not only is is colorful but shows his true self. Little A is always smiling and all about making others smile. He has a sensitivity to light so you can see he is squinting a bit here too. Since he is on the playground equipment it just screams little boy and yes that is him.
This was cute because this was during Nicoli’s time of saying, “ewwwww” to everything. He didn’t like the feel of grass, dirt, couldn’t have his food mix or he’d refuse to eat (still does this) Finally I will show a few shots that show the husband and myself goofing around a palm tree.
After being there an hour we didn’t really want to do anymore and he was trying to be so military-like and not smile. Now if you notice I am not quite comfortable here either, more about why in another post later today. It’s an amazing story though.
He was trying to be total Marine mode and not smile in the picture, so I came up behind him and started tickling him. He couldn’t keep it in long.
Yep, after that he got me. I’m totally ticklish so that was NOT good. But I thin you can see we were all having fun. So for this Christmas since he doesn’t live with us I went and made him some wood blocks with our family photos on them. DIY wood picture blocks, now I have done it a bit differently and I will share it with you but not today, he’s on a bus headed out here and could actually read the blog. What do you think of the pictures? Can you see everyone’s personality?
Wow, these turned out wonderful! I love the individual pictures of each of your kids! Too cute!
LOVE that close-up of you! That one turned out nice. They all are so good. Your family seems so happy! lol We haven’t gotten any taken recently, but it’s always an adventure!
