A Beautiful Almost Spring Morning
I love the first signs of Spring and even though I hear California is getting slammed with bad weather and it’ll be coming here next I can’t help but feel this burst of energy building up inside me as the frozen Earth slowly melts and begins to birth new. We are seeing more and more wildlife near us, which for us means Squirrels running up and down the trees and waiting for me to toss bread outside for them. Of course I had to do it when I saw three in our tree. The birds are already beginning to flock on our back porch.
Here is a picture of a squirrel running away from our trees towards another house. I know it is bad and you can barely see him but the sun rays look really neat in the picture too. Okay now that I posted it is a really bad picture but it is still nice, you just can’t see him.
I’m also adding yet another picture of our tree, you know the one that had all those icicles hanging off it? Well the ice is all gone, except for our front which as you can see still has packed snow in it. I love that the sun is showing off the trees and you can see the orange rays. I just can’t wait to start seeing the little green buds popping up all over. We are on the opposite side of the street so our house doesn’t always get the snow but all the kids on the street seem to love it.I’m thinking, after my homework the little one and I will venture on a walk around the block a few times. He’s so full of energy these days that we need to do something with him. What type of weather do you currently have? What’s your favorite season?
