Every Day With God Devotional from VeggieTales

It’s a Veggie Tales daily devotional for Boys! Oh and girls! We love VeggieTales. How about you?

VeggieTales Everyday With God

There’s a chance that you might have the original devotional “Every Day with God”, however it has been updated with new content and artwork. So it’s totally new! The best part is we are having a giveaway for one today! All you have to do is enter to win!

If you haven’t been reading my posts then you may not know that VeggieTales is a big hit in the household.  Everyone in this house watches it, no matter the age. My kids have been collecting the stuffed Bobs, Larry Mobiles, books and DVDs for years. So the VeggieTales Devotional ($9.99) was as well.

Get siblings together and reading. Let them help one another, talk about their day or begin their day in the best possible way. This is great for ages 4-7 but does not stop there.

They are such happy characters that are always telling your children what God wants them to do and how to behave. This to me is Golden. Who doesn’t want to teach their children morals? Plus they have these silly songs that are really catchy and chances are if you hear it you’ll be singing right along.

This little devotional is a 365 day one. (364 pages) They have a girl one and a boy one…or you could purchase both. Really it doesn’t matter.  The beginning of the devotional is a place where you can write who this book belongs to, when it was given to them and by whom. Great memory.  Honestly the page below was something even I needed to read today. Have you ever had a day like that?

  • Special title to explain what is happening on that page.
  • Each page has a beautifully illustrated VeggieTales character on it
  • Scripture at the top.
  • A short reading of about 100 words or less.
  • A thought of the day.
  • Prayer for Today section.

I have two young boys that are getting a kick out of this book. Nicoli is 3 and loves looking at the picture and hearing what it is about. He will also tell you who is on the page with such excitement. You may even hear him suddenly start singing a song or a story about that particular character. My 9 yr old boy, Little A, has been a very reluctant reader until recently and likes to read a page a day to his brother. I think this is a great way to bond and share with one another. Since their bigger brother will be moving away soon it is time to secure this bond between the two young ones. What better way to do it then with God?

There is also a devotional like this available in a Girl’s version. Check it out here.
