As a mom to three teens it isn’t always easy to keep up with their busy schedules, which means keeping their fuel up is a must. It isn’t always easy finding snacks that they will eat or snacks that will help curb those appetites. I’ve got two in school activities, two with jobs, one going to sporting events, it is endless. How can I make sure they get what they need between meals? Yoplait GO BIG is how.
Check out the Yoplait Go Big pouches (that you just grip-and-rip) that are being sold at most grocery stores in an 8pack between $4-$5.39. They come in both Peach Mango & Cherry or Mixed berry & Strawberry. I want to tell you that currently Yoplait Go Big has a contest going on where you head to their Facebook page and tell them why you believe your teen is AMAZING. Okay so now it is my turn.
I have three AMAZING teens:
BalletGirl (16) who is a junior in high school and already knows that she wants to apply to culinary school in the future. She is currently enrolled in AP classes and for electives she chose to do history (not many kids do that). During her spare time she has joined the scrabble club at school and but she also works after school. That’s right, she recently got her first job! She’s amazing because she has a great heart. She is just awesome and continues to keep her grades above a 3.7+ while doing all this.
BabyGirl (13) is in her 7th grade year. She’s been on the student council for the past two years. She is currently helping the school plan their Veteran’s Day Celebration (which I think is AWESOME) because she loves to do things for those that are/were in the military.
Soccerboy (19) graduated, began working in a church as a janitor a few years ago. He loved spending his extra cash on taking his siblings to the movies or out to eat. Once he graduated this amazing kid moved back to Indiana from California, got himself a job at the mall and went to college full time. He completed his first year of college but realized he was still missing something. At the end of next month he will be heading off to boot camp. That’s right, my boy signed up to join the military. This is what makes him amazing. He’s awesome, level headed and always trying to be good and do good. I will definitely miss him when he starts his new life, but I’m so proud of him.
To all three of my teens,
You already know how much I love you and think you are amazing. I don’t think a week goes by that I don’t tell you how proud of you I am. Keep up your awesome work and keep doing what you do. I am so proud of the people you are becoming and how you tackle this world. You will make amazing adults in the future if you continue the path you already are.
I know my kids aren’t the only amazing teens out there. I bet your teen is amazing too. Why not let Go Big spotlight that amazingness? For a chance to win the spotlight for your teen, go to the Go Big Facebook page and share how your teen inspires you. Go Big will select three teens with amazing stories and give them a platform to show the world! For more information, full contest rules can be found on the Go Big Facebook Page.”
