Tron Legacy Review & a Board Game
We were asked this past week if we’d like to review “Tron Legacy” for #couchcritics since this was just popping up in the Redbox machines all over so of course I jumped at the chance. I mean we were going to watch it anyways right? Keep in mind we watch everything that hits Redbox. But I had wanted to see this one but couldn’t remember why. When it first came to theaters I told hubby I didn’t want to watch it because I thought it was a cartoon. It was far from it and I’m kind of bummed I missed it in theaters.
For those that haven’t seen it here’s a quick trailer of “Tron Legacy”:
As you can see this story is about a boy who’s father disappears one day, he grows up without knowing where his dad ever went. One night he was there promising him to play on the same team together for his dad’s famous game and the next he was gone. He loved showing up at the company office once a year to play pranks on the board members. But after 20 years his dad’s partner gets a call from him and immediately tells Sam (played by Jeff Bridges). Now Sam must decide if he’ll go back to his father’s old office and look around. Just what will he find? Sitting in his dad’s chair he pulled into another world, a digital world that no one knew about. How will he get out? Who will he find and what types of trouble awaits him? The only way to find out is to rent the movie yourself because I’m not giving anything else away.
Now the task with this assignment was to create a game board using Tron Legacy as inspiration. Oh I would’ve made a black board game but they were out of the material at Wal-Mart, they had no neon colors or even glo markers. But I did get help from Little A making this so take a peek at our design. Hopefully Soccerboy will come home and fix it if it needs tweaking.
