Trick or Treaters follows an orphan named Tiffany, traveling by carriage to a dreary castle high in the mountains, where her wicked aunt runs a home for orphans. The show starts off really sad as little Tiffany is saying goodbye to her mom and dad’s graves and whisked away into a carriage to her aunt. Poor little thing.
On the way to the castle, Tiffany ends up in the hands of three robbers – and considers herself lucky as can be! But boy does she find herself in trouble, don’t worry about her though, she’s not worried in the tiniest little bit. When her coach arrives, auntie is very upset because she is not inside the carriage due to the robbers. Nicoli told me she is a very mean lady. He didn’t like the way she treated the other children and how scared they were of her. While the robbers slept little Tiffany was left by herself and she makes them coffee and decorates their hide out.
With a childish lie, she makes them believe that she’s a princess from India worth millions of jewels. Inspired by the little girl’s idea, they agree to take her, but just as the three had feared, she turns their lives upside down and teaches them a lesson about selflessness, kindness and love in this charming tale. What happens when they learn the truth? Will they turn her away to make her live with her awful aunt or come to her rescue? Watch it to find out.
This DVD does come with 13 Halloween Wall Decals inside the box. I did not stick them on my walls as mine are really thin paint and I don’t want to pay for that later, instead we made a tiny sticker book that we will be making all month full of Halloween stickers. Nicoli loves finding stickers in the stores so this will be a fun activity we do during the next month. All we did was take a few pieces of construction paper, folding them up into four and made ourselves a little book. Trick or Treaters arrived on DVD, Digital HD and On Demand from Anchor Bay Entertainment and The Weinstein Company, as well as on Digital HD and On Demand, on September 6, 2016
