School is about to start up for many of the readers out there, if it hasn’t yet. For my family our first week of school was last Monday, which means we were being sent home TONS of paper to sign and send back and others to keep. I’m sure ya’ll know what I mean. Last year everyone decided to pile it all up on my desk, that was not happening this year, not with four kids and work. I needed to start organizing things better than all those years before. Thankfully I was introduced to “The Homework Caddy” which is extremely helpful in organizing all those “for school” items, or even sports, appointments, etc.
The homework caddy has a calendar and four areas to hold important documents, or homework for mom to look over, a place for the school menu, or maybe a sports schedule, a tiny pocket to hold the dry erase marker for the calendar, other pockets that are bigger for pens (for mom & dad to sign papers) and pencils for the kids to do their homework. No excuses now for not having the homework done. This is a handy little caddy that will help your family stay organized, at least for reports, appointments, etc. It is up to you look over your calendar though.
The Homework Caddy is designed to fit on most standard door frames, it is 28 inches wide and 36 inches in length. There are two velcro straps which is perfect for those poster size homework assignments that they have to bring back. No more laying it on the dinner table for it to get food all over it. Once they are done they fold it up and hook it to the straps. Got a kid with a library book issue? Now you can slide them in a pocket, not mine as I have assigned all four kids one pocket each, plus they get heavy library books for some reason. hehe. This little caddy is $25.99, plus shipping and handling and can be ordered on their website, it comes in one of four different styles and comes with 1 Dry Erase Board & Calendar Combo, 1 small Dry Erase Marker, and 2 Stick-On Hooks to Hang It.
Disclaimer: I received one of “The Homework Caddy” at no charge and for review purposes only. All opinions expressed and pictures are 100% my own and were not influenced by any other source.
