Dinosaur Adventures Personalized Book Review & Giveaway

November 15, 2015 By · 65 Comments

Disclosure: I was sent this book free of charge from Hallmark Licensing to facilitate my review. Pictures and opinions are my own.
I had so much fun picking Nicoli out a personalized book from Hallmark. He is really big into Dinosaurs right now so it wasn’t hard picking out one I wanted just for him I went with the Dinosaur Adventures. Of course for those looking for personalized gifts they currently have Holiday books (Christmas, Santa, Hanukkah). Each book is personalized because you can pick any out, add the child’s name so they are the main character in the story, pick out the character. This is the fun part, you get to choose the hair color, style, eye color and skin tone.

The Hoover airLift Deluxe Review #HGG

November 15, 2015 By · No Comments

Disclosure: A product was provided to facilitate this review. All opinions and pictures are my own.

I was sent this in order to do a review on a few sites but I decided this is something adults would LOVE in their home which meant this would be a great gift for Santa to leave under the tree. The Hoover air Lift Deluxe allows you to lift off the canister for convenience, in other words you know those cobwebs up on the really high parts of your ceiling your regular one won’t reach? Well this one can. Lift the green button (that says LIFT) and carry it where ever you need it.

Get Ready for that Masquerade Party with Success Creations!

October 30, 2015 By · No Comments

Disclosure: We were sent the following masks to do an honest review. All pictures and opinions are my own.

Are you heading to a Masquerade party anytime soon? I know from now until roughly New Year’s Eve there are Masquerade parties all over the place. I have never been lucky enough to attend one but would love to. The whole mysteriousness of who is hidden underneath the masquerade mask. Yes, I was a HUGE Zorro fan, I mean who was that masked man and so many super heroes are masked. So it shouldn’t be a surprise that I absolutely LOVE masks, in fact about 5 years ago my husband’s cousin sent me and the kids each a Mask from Italy.  I just had to have the chance to review a pair of masks for you, now all I need to do is find a party. Build-a-Bear Workshop Starts School with a Big Splash!

September 29, 2014 By · 57 Comments

Disclosure: This is a review, the product mentioned was sent to us to review. But I loved it and thought you and/or your children would too.

Just at the beginning of the school year my kids got a surprise at the front door. Build-a-Bear Workshop wanted to start their education off with a great big splash and had sent us some of their new Summer pals. The kids were definitely excited with their new-found-friends especially Mr.Nicoli.

Once his siblings were at school he decided to help himself to see what was inside this “special package” we’d got that his siblings wanted to open so badly, but since he’d been in tears at the beginning of them going back to school I had told them that he would get the honors of opening it the following day so when they went off to school he’d have something fun to do. Boy did he too.

By the way, Build-a-Bear Workshop now has puppets. I’m not sure if they always have or if this was something new but to me it was definitely new and I love it. With a toddler puppets can definitely come in handy as you can instruct them to chat with the little ones and they always talk back to the puppets even if it is toddler talk.

Fishpeople Meals Review & Giveaway

October 18, 2013 By · 61 Comments

This past week I got to try out Fishpeople’s Prepared Entree Meals. I was sent all four tasty meals, by the way if you are not a fan of fish this is probably not for you. But if you are like me and enjoy fish/seafood this is great and easy to make. During the day I tend to hate making a meal just for myself because it either takes too much time or I have to use more dishes than I should. With these prepared dinner meals I can eat one at dinner and save the other half for the next day, or if I’m really hungry eat it all for lunch but it has a ton of food in it and fills you up really quickly.

The Fishpeople’s prepared entrees come in four different flavors:

Salmon in Chardonnay Dill Cream Sauce
Coconut Yellow Curry Tuna
Thai Coconut Lemongrass Tuna
Chinook Salmon & Sea Shell Pasta in Wild Mushroom Sauce

I haven’t finished all of these off just yet but so far between the two I have tried I absolutely love the Salmon in Chardonnay sauce, which I drizzled over a quick 5 minute bag of rice. All you do is submerge the pouch in boiling water for 3 minutes. Shake the bag really good and cut the top off and pour over rice/pasta or veggies.  You do not have to boil it though, if you’d like it quicker you can microwave it fr 1 minute. There are large chunks of salmon throughout the mixture unlike some prepared meals you find in stores.

Another thing I love about this company is that the food is actually from the United States. That’s right you are not about to put seafood on your plate that is stored and packed from China like my Tilapia was the other night. I’m so sick of wanting to sit down and cook a meal only to discover that it just came from overseas. Fresh it is not, but Fishpeople meals are giving you fish from right here.

The meals are sold in shelf-stable, 7oz. pouches ($5.99) and can be shipped nationwide. These are BPA free packaging and dairy free.  By the way there is plenty in it to eat it as a main dish for one or two people.  Ready to win a 4 pack for your home?
