Miracles from Heaven on Blu-ray & DVD

July 18, 2016 By · 211 Comments

Disclosure: I was sent the same prize pack for this giveaway, all opinions are my own.

MFH-DVD
Have you seen Miracles from Heaven? It is a wonderfully written tear-jerking movie.  I saw it in the theaters and absolutely loved it. This is a movie I took my oldest daughter, Katerina (aka BalletGirl) to a while back. Katerina is not one to tear up for many movies but there were several times I looked over and saw her wiping her face. As for myself, well next time I need to just bring an entire box of Kleenex with me. It was sad, emotional, inspiring, uplifting, testing, etc. I could go on but you get it. All the emotions you can think of put into one show.

(Family time is only that when everyone is at the table)

Disclosure: Samples are being received for this post. Pictures are courtesy of Hulu, minus the one of my son.  Prizing and samples are courtesy of Hulu.

Curious George adventures are now all on Hulu. Yes, all 9 seasons are up for your viewing pleasure. Let your children watch the little monkey that gets into tons of trouble just like you did at their age. I have always loved that little monkey.  Curious George is an animated series based on the popular books by Margret and H.A. Rey. Aimed at preschool viewers (ages three to five), the goal of the series is to inspire children to explore science, engineering, and math in the world around them. And what better guide is there for this kind of exploration than the world’s most curious monkey?

CG-Still-3
Your favorite monkey is swinging into your home and getting into all types of trouble. He is definitely going to keep your kids guessing what he’ll do next or how much trouble he is about to cause. All 9 seasons of Curious George, as well as the animated film Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey, are now streaming only on Hulu. As with all Kids programming on Hulu, Curious George streams commercial-free.

It’s a PEEPS® Easter!

March 19, 2016 By · 69 Comments

I don’t know about you but I can’t remember a single Easter that wee didn’t have PEEPS® in a basket, even thinking back to my childhood we had them. As a parent I have always made sure each child got a batch of Easter PEEPS® in their basket. I mean it just wouldn’t be the same right? The best part is none of them ever eat all of them so we get to use them in desserts and hot chocolate. Course as I’ve stated in many PEEPS® posts I simply LOVE to leave some air to the bunnies and let them get stale a bit before I eat them. How do you like your PEEPS®?

Before I go any further I wanted to share that PEEPS® has given me a code for ya’ll to get a 20% your purchase, no minimum required, from February 15 through April 15, 2016. Discount code: EASTERTREATS

peepsparty

Every season they seem to come out with some new PEEPS®, which of course we need to try. Currently these are all the things they have at the PEEPS® website.  Can you see the excitement in his eyes as he first got a look at what I had in my package? Wow, he was so excited.

Eddie the Eagle Movie Giveaway

February 22, 2016 By · 182 Comments

EddieTheEagle-Graphic11

Inspired by true events, Eddie the Eagle (which comes out Feb 26, 2016) is a feel-good story about Michael “Eddie” Edwards, an unlikely but courageous British ski-jumper who never stopped believing in himself and was loveable underdog with a never say die attitude. Don’t you wish everyone had that type of attitude? I don’t know if you’ve ever been told you can’t do something or you will be limited or your child will be but I know as humans no one likes to hear that. I remember the day I was told my son may or may not walk, that he might need braces because he was born with his feet bent towards each other and they would immediately go into this frog like stance if you let them go. Apparently he’d grown in the womb this way.  He took longer to walk but I never gave up. We practiced with him daily and he learned to walk sideways before he learned to walk straight.

Check out the this inspirational video:
