Sweet Andy’s Cookies Review & Giveaway

I was recently sent five bags of cookies to review from Sweet Andy’s Cookies, I picked the Cinnamon Sugar cookies, regular Sugar Cookies, Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies, Peanut Butter Chip and Chocolate Chip Cookies. Five cookies for $5.99 per bag and they have all types of flavors to choose from. These aren’t just regular size cookies either, as you can see in the pictures these are Huge cookies. I actually love a few things about these cookies, the reason behind them, the size and the ingredients.

Sweet Andy’s Cookies actually began as a way of saying “Thank you.” Yep, these cookies (soon to be famous) were thank you cookies. Andy had left his job on Wall Street to write a book, roughly around a time when many were losing jobs. He’s the father to five and has a stay at home wife, he felt those tight strings many of us felt. Thankfully family, friends and his local church stepped up to help him when needed, this was when he decided he wanted to thank them and decided to make cookies. The cookies were a hit and he would soon realize he had something that he could market. These are great cookies, large in size and all flavors. A great way to say thank you to those that have helped you with something or a get well gift for someone you know that has been sick. These are NOT your average store bought cookies, these are delicious and soft.

My favorite cookie has always been sugar cookies, growing up I went to school on the base and at lunch they’d sell these giant ones that were moist. I haven’t found any like it, until Sweet Andy’s cookies came to my door. The first cookie I had to try was the sugar cookie and it was as if I was back in school again, but I must admit the cinnamon sugar cookie was better as it was slightly different and not overpowering. My kids each like the triple chocolate chip, as they said there was a chip in every bite.

I forgot to mention these cookies can last up to two weeks. So if you can’t eat them all on the day you get them it’s okay they won’t go bad immediately. Yummy!
