My Girls’ Performance

Last night we went up to the High School to watch our 1st and 5th graders sing. BalletGirl did a few songs, a poem and a song on her recorder. I was very proud of her. BabyGirl got to sing a few songs with her class too. She looked so happy in front of the crowd, unlike her sister who seemed to have stage fright. I know all about stage fright as I would get it before getting on the stage, but once on the stage it became natural to me. Here’s a clip of both girls. They did very, very good.

Of course she sang a few songs and you can hear her brother telling her hi back in the first song. He really thought she was singing directly at him. I thought it was sweet. BalletGirl did a poem in front of everyone (she’s wearing one of the blue shirts) and later sang for us with her 5th grade class.
