Mamavation: Mili Challenge
This is the 2nd posting of my MILI (Move it or lose it) Challenge. What does this mean? Simple I have to take a picture of my feet on the scale and post it for all to see. But if you follow me on “The Life of a Home Mom” on Facebook or my personal account I’m going to post weekly photos. So feel free to check my progress out.
This week I did a lot of walking around and Zumba, I did three days of Zumba. One those days I would have the kids do 20 minutes of Zumba with me, I would do a total of 60-70 minutes of Zumba a day. Since Little A would need something I could only do 20 minutes at a time, sometimes I got in 30. I also ate well, I did end up having a no no yesterday but figured I’d been working out and deserved a small treat. (hot fudge sundae)
So how bad does the scale look? Not bad at all, at least not to me.
It went down from last week’s 204.8, this week I am weighing in at 199.4. Woo hoo! I did it, I finally broke into the 100s.
Now to stay away from 200s.
This week’s plan: Obviously to eat right and drink more water. I have had a hard time hitting that 100 oz.
Monday: Zumba
Tuesday: Leslie Sansone 3mile
Wednesday: Zumba
Thursday: Personal Training with Jackie
Friday: Zumba. We also have a game this weekend which will mean walking
Saturday: FREE DAY. We are attending a derby.
Sunday: Zumba
I do plan on attending a Zumba class next Saturday (not this one).

Forgot to add the Mamavation question of the week: How would you like to alter your family’s nutrition and eating habits? Do you have a plan to do this?
Many of you already know I’ve been trying to change the families way of eating, since beginning my own journey we either eat out less or if we eat out we pick places that have healthier menus. I’ve also been making items with more vegetables or fruit, an example of this was the cauliflower popcorn I made. In fact yesterday while at the store the kids asked that I make it again. Little A and I will be making it this afternoon.

Congrats on the weight loss! Keep moving and taking those classes. Oh and way to make it into the 100s!
That is Awesome!!!!! Good for you. I still have a ways to go to get to the 100’s, but I know I will get there. I think you need to treat yourself once in a while as long as it doesn’t become a habit again. That’s the problem with my fit friend…she has an excuse for every no no and it happens daily. So glad you agreed to be my friend… I need the push.
You are doing GREAT!! We’re being twins here, I made it to ONE-derland this week too! Congratulations, you are so awesome, and such a great inspiration for me!
Congrats!
Way to go! Keep doing what you doing
Great job! You are going for it, girl!
I’m so proud of you breaking into the 100’s…I was a pound away last summer, before gaining some back – I know what a huge deal that is and can’t wait to get back down there again! Congrats!!
sounds like you had an awesome week
