I Passed My Business Algebra Class!

Thanks to some patient teaching, online resources and my very helpful book, “College Algebra Demystified” I passed the class. What’s that? Oh, the grade? I got an “A” in both my Business Algebra Class and my Personal Finance Class and I walked away with a lot of it in my head which is a good thing.  I only have 5 classes remaining and then I’ll have my AA….woo hoo! Trust me, doing all these classes has been a ton of work and not to mention stressful at times. I think the hardest part is learning it all in 5 weeks and then trying to remember it. But it is also having classes with assignments and scheduled chats on the same days and times. (I think they need to work on that)

I recently saw a comment on my blog from the author, Rhonda Huettenmueller, and wanted to say “Yes, the book really did help me. I highly recommend it to anyone that needs to see the problems worked out step by step. That was my biggest issue, online in the labs it’ll show the problem being worked for a few steps and then immediately jump from to the answer. Ummm, that doesn’t help, it is in between that I’m having the issue. The book definitely helped with this. Thank you.” For those of you taking classes what are you in? How are you doing? Those that aren’t can you remember going through math of any type? What was fun about it and what did you hate?

  1. Congratulations! I worked as an academic counselor at our local community college, and adult students were always my favorite. You’ve obviously worked hard. Awesome job!
