Are you heading to a Masquerade party anytime soon? I know from now until roughly New Year’s Eve there are Masquerade parties all over the place. I have never been lucky enough to attend one but would love to. The whole mysteriousness of who is hidden underneath the masquerade mask. Yes, I was a HUGE Zorro fan, I mean who was that masked man and so many super heroes are masked. So it shouldn’t be a surprise that I absolutely LOVE masks, in fact about 5 years ago my husband’s cousin sent me and the kids each a Mask from Italy.  I just had to have the chance to review a pair of masks for you, now all I need to do is find a party.

I immediately found two amazing ones that I thought would be fun, even if I can’t find a party if I throw a cape on with a black dress this could be a cute Halloween outfit.  The Odette and Crowe masks, one was for me and the other BalletGirl (age 15) was trying out. She couldn’t wait as she was going as Juliet so this was kind of perfect for her. Now her costume won’t be here until tomorrow so she had to use my cape.

The Odette Mask:  The black laser cut metal mask is flexible, lightweight, comfortable and adjustable to fit any contour of the face from 5 – 10 inches in diameter. It is decorated lavishly with rhinestones and weighs 1.7 ounces. $39.97  My review of it is this is very light weight and definitely could add a bit of Sass or elegance to the evening. Add a bit of dark make up and this would really sparkle, I love the fact they have the little rhinestones.

My favorite is the Crowe mask, I have two favorite colors which are blood red and black so this was right up my alley. I must admit I think it looks better on her but I love it. The mask wraps perfectly around your face, it has a black lace over the top of the mask with beautiful long, red feathers sprinkled with a few rhinestones to make them stand out. (They also have this in purple)

A black lace hand-cut Verona mask which is edged with braids and trimmed with jeweled premium ostrich plumes, assorted jeweled ribbons, a satin flower, netting, and a feathered crow with a jewel eye rides along. It secures with ribbon ties and is hand decorated in the USA by our talented artists. $19.97

Yes, I do think these are high quality and definitely worth the price. They are so nice I just want to hang them up on my wall when not in use. In fact once Halloween is over (at least until I can find a party to attend) I think I’ll hang them on my art wall. What did you think of the masks? What would you pick out if you could?
