Wordless Wednesday: Finding Happiness

March 4, 2015 By · 1 Comment

Finding happiness is something so many of us struggle with. Today, I wanted to take a moment to post just a few moments from this past week. siblingslove
When you watch your children you can see where the moments of happiness truly are and just how easy it is for kids to find it. So why is it so many adults can’t find it. Nicoli above had found happiness with a pen and paper, something I have always loved to do. Something for the past year I have struggled with doing. Sure I always want to write, but never know what to write or what I should or should not write. Have you been there? [Read more…]

Wordless Wednesday: Sibling Love

November 5, 2014 By · 14 Comments

Happy Wordless Wednesday! Here are my youngest daughter and youngest son together. I caught her chasing him around outside one day. Fotor1105122343 As you can see he is getting sturdier on his feet and loves running. Course if you put him down outside he will try to run. He found a pole outside and thought he found the perfect hiding place. Can you see the love these two share? I’d love to see your Wordless Wednesday posts.

Wordless Wednesday: My Homecoming Kids

October 29, 2014 By · 12 Comments

It’s Wordless Wednesday but this will have a bit of text. Last week was a super fun week, the older kids had spirit week which meant every day they were dressing up in some way. This was an exciting week but somewhat sad too, for me it meant getting my oldest daughter ready for Homecoming. This was so much fun, we did makeup, hair, finding her stuff for her dress. Believe it or not she had a collection of jewelry to pick from but she picked my birthday gift to her, a simple (mini) Origami Owl locket. I think it was actually perfect. Fotor01029113637

Here they are, before you ask, my son ALWAYS wears a beanie on his head. So to make him take it off would mean to be fake. I love real photos of family so this is perfect. I love that the two of them can play like this. They had the most amazing time and I was so happy to see them come back to the car once it was done with smiles plastered to their faces. As for my oldest, this was his last Homecoming but sounds like he enjoyed it. As for BalletGirl, she has at least 3 more to go to and many other dances. She came back with an Eiffel Tower Statue that she took from one of the tables, something her momma would’ve done. haha. Post your link below:

Wordless Wednesday: Spirit Week

October 22, 2014 By · 1 Comment

It’s Spirit Week for my High School Children which means each day has been something new. I will share Monday and Tuesday with you. Now I did not do pictures every day because I was kind of upset with the school.

This was for Super Hero vs Villain Day on Monday. She wanted Batman. Once she got to school they immediately made her wash it off before 1st period. No masks. I didn’t have a mask on her, this was paint. She was kind of bummed.

Today is “Fake an injury day” I kind of expect to get called up. I’m sorry but if you don’t really want them to dress up just don’t have a week like this. Am I
right? No notes came home stating how they could or could not dress up, only a tiny sheet stating the days of the week. Thursday is Powder Puff which is also when my son will be a cheerleader, I can’t wait to take photos for ya’l. 😉 Happy Wednesday. Don’t forget to drop your link.

I just love these little smiles he gives me. How can one possibly have a frown when they get a smile like that?
