A Day at the Indy Baby Expo
Saturday, October 16th was the first day of the Indy Baby Expo (BeBe Palluzza) which goes on until 5pm on Sunday, October 17th. We arrived just before 10 am (beginning of the event) yesterday, SoccerBoy agreed to attend with me to help pass business cards out and of course hold anything. I just think he didn’t want to drive around Indianapolis all day with his siblings, but he was a great help and was rewarded more than once for helping. Walking up we noticed the huge line of moms waiting to get those goodie bags. See the first 50 got a really nice goodie bag full of items from the show, including Diaper Genies. (diaper pails) I was able to catch two of the ladies that won a goodie bag and they were nice enough to let me take a picture.
Next up we decided to make it around the room. There were so many booths to check out, daddy & mommy lounges, restaurants were there, concession stand (don’t order the quesadilla though), Febreeze RV (smelled good too), games, jumping thingy, people to chat with.
They had a gorgeous are for a Pirate Party and beside it was the little Princess Tea Party. I must say the table displays and surroundings were very magical and I think the little ones would’ve loved to have a party in these settings. Later there would be the Diaper Crawl and Daddyathon. The diaper crawl babies raced from one end of a rug to the other to see who would win the metal. Two babies stopped to flirt with one another. (too cute) Over at the Daddyathon we caught daddies racing from one side of the room with a baby in a stroller (not to worry these were dolls) and at each side they either dressed the baby or had to put a diaper on them. Boy was this funny!
Okay I’m headed out to chop off a lot of my hair and will come back to post more pictures of this event and then I’ll give you all a peek at my new hairstyle. But no poking fun, I’m nervous as heck as it has been over 10 years since I really chopped it.
But tired of headaches. Leave a comment if you stopped by the Indy Baby Expo this weekend. I’d love to return the favor.
