In case you missed my “Announcement” yesterday…..we tested positive on some home pregnancy tests and went to the doctor to confirm it. Our baby (don’t know the sex just yet) will be here May 1st. Woo hoo! We’ve got an ongoing joke right now we have Johnny 5, for those that may wonder think Short Circuit (if you are old enough to know the movie. I wanted to share with family and friends immediately without announcing it but no one caught on why I would post pictures of Johnny 5 is ALIVE! Happy WW! Feel free to post your WW. Happy Halloween!
I’m still a bit surprised but most of it has worn off a bit. I can’t believe it was just a few months ago I was super stressed over graduating college, trying to find that perfect job and saying goodbye to my youngest child as he entered kindergarten and wondering what I’d do with my time. Time has quickly passed, he loves school, I am working part time and still love being at home during the day…after all ya never know when a child will be sick and need to stay home and be loved on. You never could have told me that while I’m preparing myself for my oldest to graduate in just a few years, he’s a Sophomore, that I would be welcoming a child.
Oh whoops, did you see what I just said? Is my secret out? Well, let me begin with I thought I was sick, I couldn’t get rid of that bad tummy that kept making me sick every day, my fever kept rising and dropping and nothing settled. My husband figured it out before I did. My cycle got messed up due to all the changes and while we are normally safe someone decided to give us a gift. I went to the doctor after taking three tests that all tested positive, I still wanted confirmation. Doctor came back with …”Yes, you are pregnant and expecting in May!” Soooooo….we are expecting our 5th child in May.
Here’s the funny thing….I’ve actually lost weight since the beginning of this pregnancy due to all the morning sickness. But thanks to those little Morning Sickness pills hopefully I won’t be losing anymore. Doctors says I’m not allowed to lose anymore, I am just happy I can eat a bit again. We will be finding out the sex in December but for now this is what our little baby looks like.
