Every year there are around 20,000 accidents that happen from garages that someone is rushed to the hospital for. Many of these accidents could be prevented with a few tips that will be provided below, but as we all know, sometimes garage doors are just unpredictable. Take the Garage Safety Quiz and see what you might need to freshen up on.

· Doors are heavy – never stand, run or play under or near any garage door, especially when the door is open or moving.

· Openers are for adults – never play with the button on the wall that opens and closes the garage door.

· Ouch! – never touch any part of a moving garage door. Your fingers and hands can get hurt!

· Remotes are for adults – never play with the remote control in the car or on Mom and Dad’s keychain.

Cowgirls ‘N Angels Review

I loved the movie “Flicka” so when I first saw previews for “Cowgirls ‘N’ Angels” I immediately wanted to see it and knew my girls wouldn’t be far behind me. I love a good tear jerker and this movie had all the makings for one, only I had no clue how much until I was smack dab in the middle of the movie and crying my eyes out. Of course my heart went out for my 9 year old daughter who was taking the movie much more seriously, but hey we all need a good cry, especially when it is from a movie and not real life. Right? I must admit that watching this with my girls made it so I could explain I once did tricks on horses after visiting a summer camp and now my daughter thinks I’m awesome. Such a great feeling but a bit of me misses that little summer camp and the time with the horses I had.

The Movie:
Film star and youngest actress in the movie, Bailee Madison (Just Go with It), Oscar nominee James Cromwell (The Artist), Jackson Rathbone (Twilight Series) and many other wonderful actors/actresses come together to bring you a rodeo of laughs and tears. A spunky young girl (Ida played by Bailee) with dreams of finding her father goes out in search of the rodeo to hopefully find him. But her love for a particular horse draws the attention of Terence Parker, who recognizes the drive and determination she has and the nature she has with a horse he takes her under his wing. She immediately learns all there is about the “Sweethearts of the Rodeo” and desperately wants to be a part of their team. It isn’t a piece a cake for this young rider though, she must prove herself to the ladies, Terence (who wonders if she is just too much trouble) and of course her mother (who wants nothing to do with the rodeo).

Terence trains the “Sweethearts of the Rodeo” which are trick riders, but when Ida discovers that getting her face and name on the front of a newspaper may draw her father to her she demands to learn the ultimate trick. Terence isn’t sure she has the skills quite yet but she insists and the team begins to train her. But with a fall hurts her and a trip to the hospital puts the whole team on the verge of losing everything will they be able to pull together to help each other out? Will Ida ever find her father or will she just adapt to the new family she has found? Oh I won’t be spilling the beans, you have to watch.

The film will be out on DVD October 2, 2012 at a Walmart near you. Will you be purchasing it?
